How to Install Apps on Hisense TV
As mentioned earlier, Hisense TV comes with different operating systems, namely Android TV OS, Google TV OS, Roku OS, Fire TV OS, XCLASS TV OS, and VIDAA TV OS, each with different ways to install apps. Before installing apps from the app store, your Hisense TV should be connected to the Internet via Ethernet or WiFi.
Hisense Google TV
1. After powering up your Hisense Google TV, click the Apps menu at the top of the home screen.

2. On the Apps page, scroll down and tap the Search for Apps and Games field.
3. Search for the desired app that you want to install on your Hisense Google TV and select it from the search results.
4. Tap Install on the app’s info page to get the app.
5. Once the application is installed, start using it on your Hisense TV by completing the login process.
Hisense Android TV
1. After connecting your Hisense Android TV to the Internet via Ethernet or WiFi from settings, go to the home screen.

1. From the home screen of Roku, move to the right side of the screen, where you will find multiple App tabs.
2. Scroll down to the last and tap the Add Channels icon.

4. Click on the app tile from the suggestions and tap +Add Channel on its info page.

Hisense Fire TV
1. To download apps, first, you need to be on the Home page of Hisense Fire TV.
2. Move your selection towards the right and tap the Apps icon.
3. Scroll down and click the AppStore tile below Your Apps & Channels section.

4. Once it takes you to the Amazon Appstore, click the Search icon and search for your desired apps.
5. Pick the app from the results and tap Get to download the app on your Hisense Fire TV.

Hisense VIDAA TV
1. From the home page of the Hisense VIDAA TV, press the down navigation button on your Hisense remote.

Can I Download Apps on Hisense Xumo TV?
No. You cannot install apps on Hisense Xumo TV or Hisense XCLASS TV. Like any other Hisense TV model, there is no app store to install apps on Hisense Xumo TV or Hisense XCLASS TV. You can only use the pre-installed apps on these Hisense TV models, such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. However, if you want to install additional apps to stream the content, use any streaming device like Apple, Firestick, or Roku.
Is It Possible to Sideload Apps on Hisense Smart TV?
Yes. You can sideload any apps only on Hisense TVs with operating systems such as Fire TV OS, Android TV OS, and Google TV OS. If the app you are looking for is not available on your TV’s app store, you can sideload the app.
To do this, you need to install a third-party sideloading tool named Downloader on your Hisense Android or Google TV from the Play Store. If you are a Hisense Fire TV user, get the Downloader app from the Amazon Appstore. Once you install the app, enable the Downloader app to install apps from unknown sources. Then, enter the APK link of the app on Downloader and sideload the app on your device.
Further, you can also use the USB Flash Drive to sideload apps on Hisense Android, Google, and Fire TV. Just copy and paste the APK file of the app you want to install on your Hisense TV on a USB drive. Then, insert the USB drive into your Hisense TV and install the app by selecting the APK file.
