The Game Mode on your Hisense TV allows you to play games with reduced input lags and faster response time. It also offers a smoother gaming experience with enhanced picture quality. When the gaming mode is turned on, unwanted background tasks are temporarily paused to ensure the game runs without any disturbance. You can turn on the game mode in the Picture or Display Settings on your Hisense Smart TV.
Steps to Turn On Game Mode on Hisense Smart TV
The procedure for changing the game mode is not the same for all Hisense TVs. After connecting your gaming device, refer to the steps below to enable gaming mode.
Hisense Android TV/Google TV
1. On the home screen of your Hisense Android TV or Google TV, tap the Settings icon at the top.
2. Once the Settings menu pops up, tap Device Preferences. If you use Hisense Google TV, you can skip this step and click the Display and Sound option directly.
3. Then, scroll down to the Display and Sound option on your Hisense Android TV.
4. Below the Display section, select Advanced Display Settings.
5. Then, toggle On the Allow Game Mode option.

Hisense Roku TV
1. After connecting your gaming console to your Hisense TV, select the Input Source to which your console is connected.
2. Once you are on the gaming console’s home screen, press the Asterisk or Option button on your Hisense Roku TV remote.
3. The TV Settings menu will appear on the screen. Scroll down and select Picture Settings.
4. Then, tap the Customize Picture option. Select Game Mode and click On to enable it.

Apart from the method mentioned above, you can also enable ALLM or Game Mode on your Hisense Roku TV from the HDMI Secret Screen. Just take your Hisense Roku remote and press the Home button 5 times. Then, press the Down button (1 time), Left button (1 time), and Up button (2 times) one after another. Now, the HDMI Secret Screen will appear on your Hisense Roku TV. At the bottom right of the screen, a list of options will appear. Scroll down and tap Enable ALLM.

This will automatically enable the Game Mode on your Hisense TV whenever you connect a gaming console to it.
Hisense VIDAA TV
1. From the home screen of your Hisense VIDAA TV, tap the Menu button on the remote.
2. Move to the Settings icon at the top and select Picture.
3. Scroll down to the Game Settings and tap Game Mode.

4. Then, select On or Auto to enable the Game Mode. If you select On, you need to turn off the mode manually when you have finished playing the game on your TV. If you choose Auto, the game mode will turn on or off automatically.
Hisense Xumo TV
1. On the home screen of Hisense Xumo TV, click on the Settings button on the remote.
2. Scroll down to the Picture and Sound option and select Picture Settings.
3. In that, tap the Game option at the bottom.

1. On your Hisense Fire TV home screen, move your navigation towards the Settings icon and select it.
2. In that, click the Display & Sounds tile.
3. Then, scroll down to the Display option.
4. Click on the Game Mode/ALLM and tap Auto or On to enable the game mode on your Hisense Fire TV.

FAQ
If the game mode is greyed out on Hisense TVs, then your TV might be in the energy-saving mode. Further, due to any software or outdated Hisense TV firmware, the gaming mode will be greyed out. Turn off the power saving mode and update the Hisense TV to fix this issue.
The Game Mode is a basic setting on the TV that reduces the latency when it is turned on. On the other hand, the Game Mode Plus is an advanced feature that includes options, such as VRR & ALLM, for a smoother gaming experience.
