If your Hisense TV is powered on and left idle for a prolonged period, it will experience issues like screen burn-in or image retention. To avoid this, you can set screensavers on your Hisense TV. You can set up artwork or even personal photos as screensaver when your TV is idle. You can easily enable the screensaver on your Hisense TV by visiting the TV Settings. Once enabled, your TV will automatically display vibrant screensavers after a particular time of inactivity.
Steps to Set Screensaver on Hisense Smart TV
Follow the steps below to enable screensavers and prevent image retention when your TV is inactive.
Hisense Android TV
1. Use the navigation keys on your Hisense Android TV remote to move to the Settings icon on the home page.
2. Click the Device Preferences option from the settings menu.
3. Then, scroll down to the last and select Screen Saver.

4. Next, click the Screen Saver option and select the Screen Saver category, such as Backdrop, Colors, PaperOcean, etc. Then, choose any animated video from the list to set it as a screen saver.
5. Then, come back and tap When to Start. Here, you can choose the duration of inactivity, after which the screensaver will activate. If you want to see how the screensaver looks, tap Start Now, and a demo clip will play on your TV screen.
Hisense Google TV
1. Hit the Settings icon on Hisense Google TV’s home screen.
2. Once the menu pops up on the screen, click the Settings icon once again.
3. Then, scroll down to the System option and select Ambient Mode.

4. Tap the Settings option where you will find multiple options to choose from and customize your screen saver.
5. If you want to keep custom photos on your TV, tap Google Photos and follow the instructions to add personal photos to Hisense TV from your smartphone using the Google Home app.
6. Further, you can also choose a screensaver from the Art Gallery and Experimental option.
7. Then, set the time after which the screen saver should display by navigating to the Time option. Also, customize the screensaver speed by selecting Slideshow Speed.
8. Once you have set everything, tap Start Now to view how the screensaver works.
Hisense Roku TV
1. On the home page of your Hisense Roku TV, scroll down and tap the Settings icon.
2. Click the Theme option and select Screensavers.

3. Select any one screensaver from the list and tap Preview Screensaver. If the screensaver is ok, tap Set as screensaver.
4. Then, go back and select Screensaver Start Time and choose anyone from the list. If you select 1 Minute, the screensaver will appear after one minute of inactivity.
Hisense Fire TV
1. Tap the Settings icon on your Hisense Fire TV.
2. Click the Display & Audio tile and select Screen Saver.

3. Now, the Screen Saver Settings option will appear on the screen.
4. In that, you can select Slide Style and Slide Speed.
5. Further, you can also choose the Start Time of the screensaver.
6. In addition, if you want the date and time on the screen saver, select Date and Clock and select On.
Hisense VIDAA TV
1. From your Hisense VIDAA TV home screen, select the Settings icon.
2. Scroll down to the end and select System.
3. In the System menu, click the Advanced Settings option at the last.
4. Select Screensaver and choose the screensaver Time.

Now, the screensaver will appear on your Hisense VIDAA TV after a few minutes of inactivity.

1. Launch the VIDAA Art app from the home screen of your Hisense VIDAA TV.

3. Select your favorite Screensaver on the app.
4. Then, click the Settings icon at the top.
5. In the Settings section, you can choose the Screen Saver Time and Picture Switching Time. Further, you can adjust the brightness of the backlight when the screen saver appears.

Hisense Xumo/XClass TV
1. Press the Home button on your Hisense Xumo TV remote.
2. Then, click the Settings icon at the top-left of the screen.
3. On the Settings menu, scroll to the last and select Screen Saver.
